Baked potato soup


4 lbs potatoes, skinned and cubed
4 cups non-fat milk
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
¼ cup green onions sliced
4 tbs bacon bits, real or packaged

Place potatoes in large pan; cover with water and bring to boil. Cook 15 minutes or until very tender; drain. return potatoes to pan and mash to desired consistency. Add milk, salt, pepper, bacon bits and stir well. Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated, stirring frequently.
