This was the first trip with my newly joined 4x4 club. It was a lot of fun to get out and hang around with the guys, but it would have been much more fun had my rig been done so I could have driven her. I ended up riding with a real nice guy and a heck of a driver, Wyatt Pemberton who is now racing in XRRA. I didn't actually end up riding much as one of the guys in our group broke a steering knucle and it took most of the day to get him back to camp. Setting around the campfire that night was worth the trip in itself though. This was the first time I had camped out in several years and it was great to sleep under the stars and listen to the coyotes.

My little home for the weekend.

My view from Wyatt's rig no creature comforts here, just functionality.

Eric making one of the trails look easy.

George in the "Green Monster".

That's close enough Wyatt.

One of Barnwells "jumping trees". They jump right in front of you when you least expect it.

Seth thrashing Todd's buggy.

Wyatt picking his line up the trail.

Wyatt climbing the stairs.

Recovery of the broken Jeep begins.

Somethings not right here!

The long tow or I guess I should say "drag" back to camp.

The guy hiding behind the pallet says it all. That was one heck of a fire it even melted some lawn chairs 50 feet away.
