We decided to go to Corpus this year as Deb was desperatley needing a beach "fix". We rented a townhouse on the third floor of a beachfront complex. It had an incredible view, the beach at our doorstep and an unexpected "treat". Birds! Everytime we stepped out on the balconey we were swarmed by various seabirds looking for handouts. That was kind of cool at first, but then we started to see the downside. From then on we only went out on the patio after the birds had bedded down for the night. During the day we enjoyed the view from behind the poop-proof sliding glass door.

Deb's daughter Casey or "The Girl" as we affectionatley call her.

Jelly fish at the Corpus Christi aquarium.

Old reliable, my '97 Z71. She had almost 200,000 miles on her at this point in her life.

One of my favorite things about Padre Island.
